1. Plan in advance – Be away from stress by planning your preparations a day or night before. You will know exactly what you need to keep ready, like vegetables and spices and you can buy them and plan accordingly.

2. Storing spices – Light, heat and moisture will cause herbs and spices to lose their flavor, so store them in a cool and a dark place and not near the hob or stove.

3. Cooking Pasta/ Noodles – Cook the pasta or noodles a minute less than suggested on the pack and then cook the rest again with sauce/veggies. This way you don’t overcook the pasta or noodles and prevent them from becoming soggy and paste-like.

4. Chopped Vegetables – Chop and stock vegetables like carrots/green peas etc. in good quantities and store them in freezer in freezer safe containers or zip lock covers. So, whenever you need to make a quick soup or boil veggies, you are ready in a jiffy!

5. Garlic odor - To remove the garlic odor from your hands, after working with them, it is suggested that you rub your hands vigorously on the stainless steel sink and then wash off your hands.

6. Special cooking – Always remember never to try a new recipe or a new ingredient when you are cooking for an important lunch/dinner.

Your child’s room is not just a place for him to sleep, but it is much more than that. It is a world of his own.
