Visual orientation sample for Amazon.in

Outline a visual/banner with headline and body copy to promote the Clothing/Apparel category on Junglee.

ü   Category in clothing: Dresses
ü   Sub-category: Printed dresses.
ü    Graphic representation created in MS PowerPoint (shows a girl with an umbrella and drops of rain in prints falling over her – cropped images of actual prints of designs on dresses in the clothing section from amazon.in / girl picture from google images)
ü   Target Audience: Indian – I am talking about the current season – summer.
ü   Style: Printed styles – suitable for the summer season.
ü   Sub styles : categories within prints – Bohemian, Floral, Geometric, Digital (introducing an element of curiosity)
ü   Basic details of the category given – colors and variety.
ü    Navigation element -  included at the bottom of the page for the customer for easy access to the product listing.
ü    Size of the banner – is a bit bigger (couldn’t manage this part) – 960 X 720 pixels.
ü    I chose to design this particular theme as it is appealing to me – it is colorful and makes me curious as the prints appear on the droplets. The girl looks cheerful and ready to catch these printed droplets – shows that it is a welcome change. Also as I talk about the seasons, a rain is a welcome change during the hot summer months. The picture also shows a variety of prints and colors which also indicate that the product listing is good and big – as a serious online shopper would love to scout for more and more options before he/she can make the final purchase.

ü    For a new or a first time shopper, mentioning styles like – bohemian, geometric, digital or floral may arouse curiosity and may perhaps want to check out what these styles actually are.
