What's the plan? But several obstacles block him. What are they? The situation

character's final plan? What happens? Write the story.
Rosanna had magic in her legs. She had
learnt ballet dancing ever since she was 6. It was always her dream to become
the world’s finest dancer and yes famous too! How dainty she would look when
she would wear those cute little Pointe
shoes and that lovely pristine white classical Tutu skirt! There would not be
a single day when she would miss her practice.
Rosanna’s
best friend was Svetlana who stayed next door. It was almost as if they had
grown up together. More than just friends they were true soul sisters. Svetlana
was also into ballet dancing and actually speaking, both these girls were a
huge competitor to each other.
It was just
week before that Rosanna had celebrated her 18th birthday and was
anxious as she would be stepping in to adulthood. After a regular ballet
session, Ms. Wilma Whyte, the ballet
mistress waited to announce the names of the two lucky students who would
be performing at the prestigious International
Ballet Competition held at Bolshoi. This competition would be held once in
four years and getting selected to perform on such a huge stage was once in a
lifetime event!
The class dropped into complete silence and the moment of
truth had arrived. She proudly called out the names of Svetlana and Carlos.
While they could not believe their ears, and couldn’t stop themselves from
thanking the ballet mistress, for Rosanna the world had come to a standstill.
Her heart broke into a thousand pieces; all her dreams were shattered in a
second. She was spellbound and returned home all alone.
In a second, Rosanna’s beautiful world had turned into a dark
nightmare! She started distancing herself from everyone and especially her
friend Svetlana. The once, generous and kind Rosanna had turned into a
different leaf – full of greed, sloth, envy and wrath. She felt so desperate of
missing that one chance to be at the centrestage of the world. She could not
tolerate that her friend had been selected but not her. She started plotting
ideas so that she could somehow stop Svetlana from performing at Bolshoi.
One a Sunday afternoon, Rosanna invited Svetlana over for
brunch and tried to poison her. But, as fortune would have it another way, a
little cat got poisoned instead! Svetlana learnt about her best friend’s cruel
intentions and got cautious. She also tried to be away from her and refused to
heed to all her concerns.
Rosanna just didn’t want to give up. She went to
Svetlana’s home and pretended to be kind and asked her to forgive her. Just
then, at her home, in Svetlana’s room, Rosanna found a personal diary written
by Svetlana. She immediately grabbed it and stole it. Again back home, she
started reading it. Tears started rolling down her eyes for she realized that
the diary contained numerous memories of the time both of them had spent. She rose
and decided not to succumb to any more evil desires against her dear friend.
The very next day at the ballet class, Rosanna decided to
ignore all the damage that has been done and decided to work hard and put in her best
effort. She fastened her Pointe shoes and
geared herself up. The ballet mistress noticed this and encouraged her to practice more. Ms. Whyte being a perfectionist never
said a “good job” to Rosanna ever; reason – she always believed that there are
no two words in the English language more harmful than “good job”. She didn’t
want Rosanna to become complacent.
Each day at practice, Rosanna put in her very best. Svetlana
also extended her full support and confidence to her. On one such day, while
practicing the allegro, she
experienced severe injury to her ankle. She cried in immense pain, but did not
want to give up. She rose, gathered herself and continued dancing. Every member
of the class could feel the excruciating pain that Rosanna suffered.
Days passed and she recovered quickly. With each passing
day, Rosanna learnt the fine art of doing a graceful Grande Jeté, Pirouette and Arabesque. Gradually, but eventually she became the most loved and
adored ballerina of the entire class.
The younger kids would look up to her for her outstanding performance.
In the meanwhile, Carlos who was supposed to join
Svetlana for the prestigious event was found drowned into drugs. The Ballet mistress admonished his behavior
and decided to cancel his ballet competition participation. She already had a
clear participant in her mind to replace Carlos; none other than Rosanna. She was
finally able to make her dream come true; not by cheating or by using cruel or
dangerous methods, but by sheer hard work, trust and friendship. They now start to rehearse to perform a Pas de deux at the International Ballet Competition.
